The family portrait is a lost detail in which each home should reclaim; and I aim to assist the renewal of such portraits in the homes across New England! The black and white portrait is a classic. This photographer uses film. The photograph captured with black and white silver based film and will become a family heirloom, one which will grace your home for generations to come.

About the Artist

My photo
Jennifer R. Bernard
United States
Photography by Jennifer has been a fun adventure for me. The people I have met, the artists I have worked with, the gallery owners that have and continue to support my work; are all a part of the fun experience. Myself, I am a self taught photographer with the ability to read every Ansel Adams book written, and to speak with fine photographers such as Frank Dugen and Lee Howe. My specialty would have to be the ability to work with natural light indoors or out, never using flash or filter. Linen on oil artist Ken Fiery is the artist behind the historical re-enactments, starting my career off at The Robert Frost Farm in Derry, NH. My work continues with Emily Dickinson's Homestead in Amherst, MA and Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House in Concord, MA. Black and white silver based film is my preference, however - the Red Barn Series brought the color to the gallery. My camera and I do travel and welcome sittings in New England and the Adirondack Mountains. Home is both New Hampshire and Vermont, so please feel free to contact my studio to speak with me - email is great too - I always respond within 24 hours or less!
